Delicious and a great atmosphere! We like to go to the Tavern in Wolsel! You have to book in advance! There is a menu on site, here you have to choose for meat or fish! Tasty wines are served with the dishes. Just recommended!

Always great!

Very inhospitable opening times (only on 2 evenings a week) and no menu. Is not sustainable in the Palatinate Forest. A few meters further there is a PWV hut which is always open.

Indescribably beautiful

A rustic forest restaurant with very good food. Registration is mandatory. There is no actual menu, but a 6-course menu, with the possibility to select the main course. An aperitif, water, accompanying wines and a digestif are included in the price of 69, - €. And that is absolutely justified. In short: very delicious food, cozy and rustic ambience and a friendly, 'shirtless' service. It was a nice evening and we'll be back for sure.

Good food, value for money very good. We had a wonderful weekend

Great dinner and huge breakfast with great rolls. The rooms all different and not always practical but no problem for 1-2 nights. Price performance is right. Went hiking with friends we had a blast. Unfortunately a little off the beaten path if you want to lazy late or better take a flashlight with you or how we take a taxi, but that's not cheap as it comes from Neustadt a.d.W. comes and the journey has to be paid.

Unfortunately, there are no 0 stars ... I cannot describe the food or the ambience - because we were asked - although politely - but clearly again. You only have invited guests and only at certain times. If everything had been half as wild, it would not have rained like a bucket. We were at least somewhat dry under the parasols. Not a single guest came all the time! So it wouldn't have made any difference if we could have waited inside! A host who leaves his guests in the rain! I don't have to try the kitchen at some point!

Delicious food, nice hosts, a circus car to stay ... just great

Originel, a bit rustic cheesy (but intentional) and great hosts and very good food. You have to bring time, that's just how it should taste in the end. To bridge the time, there are great wines. You can stay there again. The breakfast is a hit (if you like it hearty). All in all: recommended!

Zero organization, completely wrong. If you make a reservation in advance, you will end up empty-handed. Reservations are not confirmed for weeks, then they are untraceable. Even if they are in writing, "you are very sorry". If one reacts legitimately a bit indignant (the kinship finally arrives, there were also rooms reserved!), Then they simply do not get in touch anymore. No email, no call back. Silence in the haunted garden. A pity, but never again. There is only one star, because otherwise you can not post the review .....

Idyllic in the woods. Room rural good. Food great! Prices moderate. No mobile network, no Wi-Fi and no TV. To relax and recover: anytime again, for the food alone! Special highlight: circus car for overnight stay.
